MUSÉES DES CONFLUENCES – LYON

During our trip to Lyon with my friends, we visited the « Musée des conflunces ». Since  I am a big contemporary art lover, I was a little sad because that is obviously not the main subject of this museum ( it focuses on sciences ). Even though, I was very much amazed by the esthetic of each collection, very beautifully presented !

PLACES

LYON WITH FRIENDS

The best trip are the ones with best friends. This trip to Lyon was initially a bachelorette party for our friend Din who is getting married soon but turns out, we didn’t do anything even close to be naughty so…  ! As usual, I took 1 billion pictures !

LOOKS PLACES

PLAYGROUD DUPERRÉ

The New IT-PLACE in Paris is definitely the Playgroud Duperré at Pigalle. The place has been completely « repaint » for a brand new technicolor impressive look.

LES ARTS DÉCORATIFS : CHRISTIAN DIOR, COUTURIER DU RÊVE.

The perks of living in a cultural city like Paris is that you nover get bored. Somehow, there is always something to do, somewhere to go to. Last week, I went to Les Art Décoratifs museum for the exhibition about the Christian Dior House.
Celebrating the 70th anniversary of the creation of the House of Dior, The Musée des Arts Décoratifs invites visitors on a voyage of discovery through the universe of Dior.

I am not much of a connaisseur of haute-couture so I didn’t really have high expectation while going to this exhibition. Beside the beauty of each pieces, I was completely seduced by the intelligent of the outstanding scenography. The show is so rewarding because it doesn’t only tell the story of Christian Dior but it also focuses on the work of the couturiers who succeeded him such as Yves Saint Laurent or John Galliano, and to most recently, Maria Grazia Chiuri. What a worthwhile presentation !

If you live in Paris or happen to be in the city from July 5th 2017 to January 7th 2018,  I suggest you to take a tour at Les Arts Décoratifs Museum.

Here are some pictures I took from the show :

SAINT-MALO, BRETAGNE

One of the best thing in life is to be able to travel with friends. I have recently been to Saint-Malo in Brittany (Bretagne), a cultural region in the north-west of France, with one of my best friend. We were super exited for this trip because we both haven’t had taken any break from work in a very long time. As Brittany is known for having bad weather, I thought the weather would be rainy like a biatch but it was actually very sunny ! How lucky !
